Privacy Policy
Last updated 15 July 2026
This policy explains what DocTrader ("we", "us") collects from you, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to doctraderglobal.com, to the application and credential-verification process, and to The DocTrader Room and the tools inside it.
DocTrader is an educational platform. We are not a broker, an investment adviser, or a financial planner. We do not execute trades, hold client funds, or access your brokerage or bank accounts, and we will never ask you for your trading account password.
1.Who we are
DocTrader is operated by Doctrader Global, Gujarat, India. For any question about this policy or your data, write to admin@doctraderglobal.com.
2.Information we collect
We collect the following, and only what we need for the purposes described in the next section:
- Application details. When you apply for a seat, we collect what you submit in our application form — typically your name, email address, phone number, country, and the medical registration or credential details we need to confirm you are a licensed doctor. Our application form is hosted on Google Forms, so Google processes this submission on our behalf.
- Verification evidence. Documents or registration numbers you provide so we can confirm your licence and medical credentials.
- Account details. The email address and password associated with your login, and records of when you sign in. Passwords are stored only in hashed form; we never see them in plain text.
- Community content. Messages, questions, and material you post in The DocTrader Room, and questions you raise in live sessions.
- Support correspondence. Email and WhatsApp messages you exchange with our support team.
- Usage and device data. Basic technical records generated when you use the platform, such as pages and tools accessed, IP address, browser, and device type.
3.What we do not collect
We do not ask for, want, or store your brokerage credentials, trading account passwords, bank account details, or portfolio holdings. Nothing in the platform requires them. If you are ever asked for these in the name of DocTrader, do not provide them, and tell us immediately.
4.How we use your information
- To assess your application and verify that you are a licensed doctor, because membership is restricted to verified doctors.
- To create and secure your account, and to give you access to the modules, tools, and The DocTrader Room.
- To run the community: onboarding calls, live doubt-solving sessions, and moderation.
- To provide support over email and WhatsApp.
- To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the platform and its tools.
- To send you service messages about your membership, sessions, or changes to the platform.
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, and to enforce our Terms of Service.
5.Legal basis for processing
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on: the performance of our agreement with you (providing the membership you applied for); your consent (which you may withdraw at any time, for example for non-essential messages); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving a doctors-only community; and compliance with legal obligations.
6.Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary to make the platform work — principally to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. These cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in. Where we use any non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but you may then be unable to log in.
7.Service providers and third parties
We share your information only with providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes above. These currently include our application form provider (Google), our hosting and infrastructure providers, our email provider, and WhatsApp for support. Their own terms and privacy policies govern how they handle data on their systems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
8.Market data and third-party tools
The scanner, indicators, and charts inside the platform may draw on third-party market data. Using those tools may involve requests to those providers. We do not send them your medical credentials.
9.International transfers
Our members are doctors in India, the United States, and elsewhere, and our providers may store or process data in countries other than yours. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected to the standard described in this policy.
10.How long we keep it
We keep application and verification records for as long as you are a member, and afterwards only as long as we need them for the purposes above or to meet legal, tax, or record-keeping obligations. Where an application is unsuccessful, we keep the application only as long as needed to administer intake and to record our decision. Community posts may remain visible to members after your membership ends unless you ask us to remove them.
11.Security
Access to the platform requires an account, and every member is credential-verified. We hash passwords, restrict internal access to member data to those who need it, and use encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and any relevant authority of a breach affecting your data where the law requires it.
12.Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, write to admin@doctraderglobal.com from the email address on your account. We will respond within the period the applicable law allows. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
13.Not for children
The platform is for licensed doctors and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
14.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform changes or the law requires. We will update the date at the top of this page, and where a change is significant we will tell members directly.
